  • August 21st - 5th fill of lake (Storage/R at 40" for 5 days - 2nd hole 10/60 - Terek added copper-based algaecide at gate, but ran extra 3 days, 1st line)
  • August 16th - Pump restart due to extreme heat today (100 degrees, no wind)
  • August 5th - 4th Fill of lake (Storage, which was actually river at 40" for 5 days plus more - 3rd hole - 0/60 instead of 10/60)
  • July 24th - Panama leases transferred
  • July 16th - 3rd fill of lake (River for 40" for 4 days- second hole, filled to concrete top)
  • July 14th - Panama lease work completed
  • July 12th - 2nd Quarter Invoices with backflows sent.
  • July 5th - Lake is finally full after delivery problems, filled to top of concrete.  (60" for 3 days, plus 4 extra days of 40-60"?)
  • July 3rd - Processing dues and backflow bills.  Met with ditch attendant at lake for show n tell
  • June 29th - Emergency shutdown due to a homeowner (FP) issue.
  • June 28th - 2nd fill of the lake (River 60" for 3 days - at 4th hole) - Ditch ran into problems, didn't start until 12:30PM
  • June 28th - Meet with Falcon Environmental (Jared) to discuss pump upgrades
  • June 26th - Met with ditch rider on possible start up dates (low request for water, not enough to deliver, plus the collection points at the end of the ditches can't take anymore water)
  • June 24th - 2nd mowing of the season (7:45am - 11:30, but also cut additional property)
  • June 20th - Schedule mowing for following week.  Work on Panama share leases
  • June 19th - Requested additional river water, but was denied.  Ditch is not currently running due to lack of demand.  Unique situation.  As of today, we have about 1 to 1.5 weeks of usage.
  • June 10th - Process dues (was late), prepare invoices for July
  • June 6th - Work on lease transfer/payment hiccups with stakeholders.
  • June 5th - First fill of the lake (River - filled to top of concrete) - After weeks of ditch problems, small fills, emergency fills and some ordered river water, trying to get on schedule.  Lots of rain.
  • May 30th - Town/Mosquito Control sprayed around entire lake. 
  • May 27th - Water irrigation startup complete. Ditch gives go-ahead to start drawing water, still has issues.
  • May 25th - Looking and acquiring storage water leases (60@ 51 via TOF)
  • May 23rd - Working to secure leases from various sources.  Prepare to lease out Panama shares
  • May 21st - Update from main ditch owner is the ditch will be down for approximately another week for repairs.  HOA will postpone irrigation startup until that weekend.  Very wet weather observed.
  • May 19th - Main ditch is still down, very little water given to HOA.  Scheduling of ordered water will be difficult.  Luckily, wet weather is helping us out until the main ditch problem is resolved.
  • May 15th - First mow of the season (7:30-10:30ish).  He came two weeks early without warning.  Ditch is sending very little water, still issues with main gate
  • May 13th - Main ditch problems.  Asked if they could spill into lake to relieve pressure due to flooding and main gate issues.  Water ran for less than 12 hours.
  • May 12th - Water start-up delayed, ditch company is having problems with main source, new ditch personnel. (Note that area received 4 inches of rain in 3 days over 9th, 10th, and 11th).
  • May 8th - Backflow testing completed and reports added to website.  Three homeowners were not ready, two were home, other was bypassed using a hose.
  • May 5-7th - Confusion on CRD water communication and water availability.  Possible delay.  Water ordered for Owl Lake Estates with no ETA

  • May 28th - First mowing of the year.  Grass is long, but due to lack of moisture, not as long as it was in 2021. (Bragalones cleared debris and branches and mowed sign area)
  • May 27th - Homeowner needed irrigation shutdown to to repairs on homeowner leak.  System resumed.
  • May 25th - Homeowner has leak and out of town.  Neighbor temporarily fixed it, did not have to shut down system yet.  Will work with homeowner on plan on fixing.
  • May 24th - Replace sensor from Ramey, water system running is operational.
  • May 23rd - System start-up.  All four corners blown out, but we had a system startup failure due to a bad sensor.
  • May 20th - First fill of the lake (7 days @ 60" River - Lake completely dry, filled to first line, short of the usual) - delayed due to ditch issue and staffing shortage

  • May 9, 2020 - Saturday, backflow tests performed.  Everyone passed except 1 homeowner.  Working with homeowner on a solution to resolve the situation.  Difficult due to weekend closures and limited hours.  Decided to cap it, 9035 does not need testing anymore.

  • Oct 5th, 2009 - Officers Meeting. Address billing questions and finalize billing process. Square away outstanding debts.

  • Oct 1st, 2009 - Received update from Realtor.
  • Sep 28th, 2009 - Closed out HOA CD's that came to term in one bank and moved to the other bank to have all financials in one place. Finalized proper name changes on HOA PO Box with proper paperwork given to post office.
  • Sep 26th, 2009 - Fire permit obtained to burn piles once again.
  • Sept 18th, 2009 - Officers met quickly to discuss outstanding bills and come up with a game plan. Quick update on HOA planning activities.
  • Sep 11th, 2009 - More illegal dumping has occurred. Police and city notified. If you see any dumping, please call police. No citations will be given to HOA. Will burn using same permit and remove ash pile this week. No trespassing signs might be posted to deter individuals in violoation.
  • Sep 10th, 2009 - HOA officers met for a brief meeting to get status updates and approve some HOA bills to be paid. More planning/meetings to come.
  • Sept 6th, 2009 - Burn permit obtained, burned debris pile. Removal of remaining ash pile to happen soon.
  • Aug 31st, 2009 - Final access to Bank granted for Officers.
  • Aug 26th, 2009 - Mowing around lake completed - Thanks Eddie.
  • Aug 25th, 2009 - Lake is being filled again - Thanks Jeff.
  • Aug 24th, 2009 - All held checks deposited, invoices and letter being sent to homeowners. Mowing of the lake was started.
  • Aug 17th, 2009 - Limited access to bank was gained. Invoices being created, letter drafted. No response from sign company. City law enforcement continue to work on prairie dog issue.
  • Aug 10th, 2009 - Still working with a Bank on transition items and books. Contacted Realtor about status of sale.
  • Aug 3rd, 2009 - Still working with a Bank on transition items. Putting new QuickBooks together, consolidating books, getting payments ready. Paying HOA bills. Still working with neighbors, city and county on prairie dog issue.
  • July 28th, 2009 - Neighborhood Ice Cream Social from 7-9 PM, @ 9160 Owl Lake Drive
  • July 26th, 2009 - Treasury - All records, book keeping, and electronic versions have been acquired as of today. Using this week to sort, learn, and get everything in line into a new QuickBooks. Continue to work on one Bank issue.
  • July 25th, 2009 - Wood piles burned. Thanks for all the help!
  • July 23rd, 2009 - Wood Piles - Scheduled burn is Saturday, 7/25 @ 9am . Volunteers needed. City is aware. Ad posted on Craigslist for FREE firewood, many have responded and still are taking some. Get some firewood while you can!
  • July 18, 2009 - HOA successfully acquired another lease on water. Lake fill to begin soon after.
  • July 17, 2009 - Officer nominations closed.
  • July 18, 2009 - Prairie dog issue is being work via the proper homeowners, City of Firestone, and Weld County. Removal/Poisioning started and will take time 1-2 months to see progress. Monitoring progress.
  • July 15, 2009 - Executive Board continuing to receive all books/records and organizing. Getting things in order for smooth transition.
